Band-ter Blondie

It seemed more like a stage name for Debbie Harry, but Blondie was an entire band. They settled on the name after Harry bleached her hair and consequently copped a barrage of ‘Hey, Blondie!’ catcalls around New York. It wasn’t until their 3rd studio album, Parallel Lines, that Blondie found themselves in the international spotlight after landing No. 1 and selling nearly 2 million copies...
